DMZ / Interactive
Hajin City map (MW4 DMZ)
Hajin is the Modern Warfare 4 DMZ map, a fictionalised city in South Korea. This interactive map runs on Call of Duty's official Hajin artwork: search, filter and select regions to inspect exact locations, threat level, confirmation status and last-checked dates.
Planning what to bring? The player dashboard turns a zone pick into a raid plan: threat, gear you have unlocked, and the materials you still need.
Planning a loadout for the objective? See which field upgrades are worth the single slot, which ones unlock at level 1, and the current known issues before you queue. Loot runs are cheaper when you know the 3D Printer material shortfall before extracting. Codes for this map are on the DMZ codes page.

How to use this map in four steps
The pins, colours and filters only make sense if you know what you are looking at. This is the short version: pick a region, switch on the layers you need, read the threat colour, then open a place to see its status and source.
Jump to the steps-
Pick a region or search
Tap a marker on the map, or type a name like “NuriGO”, “reactor” or “prison” into Search regions and places. The panel on the right opens that region's zones, places and hazards, and the address bar updates so you can share the exact view.
-
Switch on only the layers you need
Untick a region in Layers to remove its pin without reloading the map. Filter by North Korea or South Korea when a route stays on one side of the river, and use the threat filter to hide anything calmer than you planned for.
-
Read the threat colour
Every marker is coloured by its highest-threat zone. Low Medium High Critical Extreme — a Critical district is a fight, not a shopping trip.
-
Open a place, check its status
Official places come from Call of Duty's Hajin intel. Community places are player callouts. Each one shows its source and last-checked date, so you know what to trust before you build a route around it.
Moving around
Use + / − to zoom and the percentage button to reset. Drag to pan on touch, scroll to zoom on desktop. Zoomed views crop the edges, so reset before you judge distance.
Filters that actually change the map
Region, threat, place type and confirmation status all combine. Search matches region names, place names and locations, so “bunker” finds the air base bunker and “bank” finds Hanex Bank in The Grid.
What the map does not promise
Positions are approximate placements on stylised artwork, not survey coordinates. Loot rotates, and exfils move. Treat every pin as a starting point, not a guarantee.
Legend
What every feature type is, and what it holds
Hajin has 30 recurring feature types across 8 groups. This legend explains how each is marked in game and what it is worth visiting for. Positions for these features are not published yet: the community map shows region outlines only, and pin-level coordinates appear once players start submitting them after the October 23 launch.
Extraction
| Feature | Marked by | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Exfils | Green smoke | Hold the landing zone until the helicopter arrives. The biggest decision of a run is which exfil is still open. |
| Infil points | Deploy screen | On foot is free; vehicle infils are paid from your Bank and depend on the missions you have finished. |
Services
| Feature | Marked by | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Bounty stations | Laptop | See active bounties and pay off a bounty on your own head. |
| Buy stations | Station | Buy gear and consumables mid-run with the cash you extracted. |
| UAV towers | Tower | Reveals nearby enemies once activated; the sweep does not follow you. |
| SAM sites | Launcher | Captured through a Side Op, then used to shoot down enemy aircraft. |
| Lieutenant hunt towers | Laptop on a tower | Climb, use the laptop, and get intel on a nearby Lieutenant. |
| Gas stations | Pumps | Repair and refuel ground and air vehicles and refill Gas Cans. |
| Marine gas stations | Jetty with two pumps | The only refuel for boats and aircraft on the water. |
Bosses
| Feature | Marked by | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Lieutenants | Skull | Named bosses with a health pool and escort; hunt towers reveal the nearest one. |
| Commanders | Crown | Higher-tier bosses guarding the best loot of the map. |
| Fortresses | Fortress | Hardened compounds with a multi-step entry; the prison fortress yard is the best-known one. |
Missions
| Feature | Marked by | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Mission objectives | Objective diamond | Story mission steps. They reset per deployment, so the route changes between runs. |
| Side Ops | Contract | Optional contracts that unlock stations and gear, such as SAM sites. |
| Dynamic Operations | Contract | Randomised multi-step contracts that start when you deploy into them. |
Loot
| Feature | Marked by | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Ammo & armor caches | Crate | Restock ammo and armor. Each cache has a cooldown, so a looted one is not empty forever. |
| Weapon cases | Case | Contain weapons and attachments worth extracting. |
| Safes | Safe | Crack or blow open for valuables and cash. |
| Police stations | Shield icon | Clear the rooms, use the roof as overwatch, and open the locked armory. |
| Clinics and hospitals | Cross | Medical supplies: bandages, medkits and triage kits. |
| Crafting resources | Materials | Raw materials for the 3D Printer, including Synthetics, Electronics, Chemicals and Metals. |
| Fire stations | Flame | Brick in the north, modern in the south. Both hold Radiation Gear and Parachutes. |
| Compounds | Walls | Fortified sites with better loot, intel and parked vehicles. |
Keys & intel
| Feature | Marked by | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Keys | Key | Found on enemies or in containers. A key only opens its named door or crate. |
| Locked doors | Locked door | Keys and lock codes open these. Check the DMZ codes page before a route that depends on one. |
| Intel | Document | Notes and laptops that advance missions or reveal a boss. |
Vehicles
| Feature | Marked by | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Vehicles | Car | Spawned transport. Fuel matters more than speed when the exfil is far. |
| Boats | Boat | The route to the offshore islands and the fastest way around the warf side. |
Hazards
| Feature | Marked by | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Radiation | Yellow zone | Irradiated ground around the reactor: bring a gas mask or Radiation Gear. |
| Night vision areas | Dark area | Underground rooms and dark floors where NVGs matter more than a sight. |
Named places
18 smaller districts printed on the map
Beyond the 13 major regions, Hajin has smaller named places you can read off the map itself — villages, warehouses, the dam, the pier and the border crossings. They sit inside a region, so use the region pin to reach them.
| District | Region | Where it is |
|---|---|---|
| Jayon Warehouses | Songdo Wharf | Warehouse blocks on the eastern waterfront. |
| Hanrim Village | NuriGO Mall | Residential village inside the mall district. |
| Revolution Dam | Haneul Nuclear Reactor | Dam structure on the reactor side of the map. |
| Tong-il Village | Cheongun Village | Village on the northern border road. |
| Pyonghwa Village | Cheongun Village | Settlement along the Russian border crossing road. |
| Oamsik Turtle Islands | Songdo Wharf | Offshore islands reached by boat or parachute. |
| Mujin Pass | Imjin Farmland | Mountain pass on the southern approach. |
| Imjin Suburb | Imjin Farmland | Outlying housing beside the farmland. |
| Daesong Ridge | Cheonwang Peak Array | Ridge line above the central city. |
| Songdo Pier | Songdo Wharf | Pier south of the wharf. |
| Namjin Riverside | Hajin River Heights | Riverside strip below the apartment towers. |
| Hajin River | Hajin River Heights | The river itself: the main route between the north and the city. |
| The Epic | Wolves Stadium | Named building near the stadium block. |
| Hotel Lucera | NuriGO Mall | Named hotel in the mall district. |
| Russian Border Crossing (West) | Cheongun Village | Western crossing point on the northern border. |
| Russian Border Crossing | Cheongun Village | Central crossing, closest to Cheongun Village. |
| Russian Border Crossing (East) | Cheongun Village | Eastern crossing point on the northern border. |
| Cheongun Outskirts | Cheongun Village | Outer streets of the village. |
Insertion
Five ways to infil, and what each costs
| Infil | Cost |
|---|---|
| On foot | Free |
| Polaris Dagor A1 | 5,000 |
| LTV | 25,000 |
| Helicopter | 50,000 |
| Cargo plane | 100,000 |
Vehicle infils are paid from your Bank on the deploy screen; the helicopter and LTV also need their story mission finished.
What you find where
- Police stations — Combat gear and a locked armory.

- Homes and residential — 3D Printer resources.
- Hidden caches — Duffel bags under stairwells and chem lockers.
Where is Hajin?
Hajin City, South Korea
Hajin is not a real-world city on the map of South Korea: Call of Duty uses it as the setting for the MW4 DMZ Exclusion Zone, split between North Korea (the border and northern POIs) and South Korea (Hajin City, the river and the southern farmland). The official tour names 13 major locations and says the wider zone contains more than 60 named locations.
Distances on this page are approximate placements on stylised official artwork, not survey coordinates. For a full list of named locations and Tac-Map service types, read the Hajin zone index, and for locks and codes on the map open the DMZ codes page.
How to read the map
Coordinates, labels and filters
Positions
Each pin sits on the matching symbol on the official tactical map. Region pins use percentage coordinates against that artwork (for example The Grid at 66%, 68%). They are approximate placements on a stylised map, not survey coordinates.
Status labels
Official means the place and its threat level appear in Call of Duty's official Hajin intel. Community means a player-reported callout that is not in the official article.
Filters
Filter by North or South Korea, threat level, place type and confirmation status. Search matches region names, place names and locations. The selected region, named locations and pinned hazards stay visible under the map.
