Order of operations
What to print first
Before the first fight
Bandage first. 15 Synthetics and 15 Chemicals is the cheapest craft in the game and it is the one that stops a bleed-out mid-contract.
Before a squad push
2-Plate vest and a Medkit. The Rare Binding Catalyst in the Medkit is the real gate, so check the calculator before you assume you can print one.
Before a long exfil
Medium backpack. Same Synthetics cost as a vest, so decide which one you would rather lose if the extract goes wrong.
